Your expectations about the session can sabotage your results

Don’t believe everything your mind thinks.

Over the years, I have realized that patients’ experiences during their past life regressions vary widely. For some, it is a firsthand, in-the-body experience. For others there remains a degree of detachment, almost as if they were viewing a rerun on TV. Following are the different types of past life experiences my patients have reported. Read more here or click the image.

  1. Sometimes patients see and hear nothing. The knowledge simply flows into them that they are now a different person, in a different place and the meaning of the words that are spoken comes to them. They are aware of the feelings and the situations, but they really see or hear nothing. This is the most elemental way of perceiving.
  2. Some patients report experiencing their past life as watching a movie, where they observe a life on the screen. In this case they do not hear a voice but simply observe the action and receive the feelings and the knowledge from within, as in the first category.
  3. In some cases patients see the scenes being played out on a movie screen. They hear the voices, conduct the action, and receive the feelings and the knowledge from within.

The most important part in all the above examples is the fact that the patients receive the feelings and the emotional turmoil while perceiving the conflict going on.

  1. In most advanced cases, patients report they actually entered the life and it is as if they are actually reliving it with the real people around them. They describe receiving the feelings directly, not just having the knowledge of the feelings. However, they also receive knowledge of the situation in the most elemental way, as in the first category. They also have the perception of what is going on with other people rather than just the interpretation they have of that life. They have more knowledge in reliving and looking back than when they lived that life the first time.

All of these experiences are therapeutic and promise success in releasing symptoms. As patients move up the scale in experiencing, the success of therapy increases. Successive sessions will move the client on the scale of experience.

During a past life regression, patients often have parallel awareness of both the past life and the current life. At other times they forget about the person they are now and go completely back into the former life as in the most advanced case. Patients still can respond to my questions. They say that they are aware of me but have forgotten they have a self in the present.

Some patients relive every moment emotionally, physically, and mentally. Others remain calm and unemotional while reliving the traumas. Either way, the experience can be therapeutic and can release the symptoms.

Many clients will try to “see” things in a regression. They may say, “I don’t see anything.”  They may say this even if you have given them instructions beforehand not to bother with trying to “see.” This conscious mind effort to have a visual of the place, experience or persons may be a result of several factors. It may be part of the process of how the client has been in their life, trying to control the outer world. Another factor is that we have been unconsciously trained by the culture to believe what we see, while not noticing that we are seeing what we believe. By training ourselves to “see” and then believe, we have been missing whole dimensions and universes that we are dwelling within.

We are conditioned through the mind and the teachings of our parents, our culture, and the mind of the “world,” to only recognize that which is experienced by the physical senses. Our so called science is based on measuring events by witnessing and mostly by visual witnessing.

But in the psyche, a visual perception is not the essence of an event or experience.  In the magnetic fields of attraction in the soul, where emotional charges from trauma exist, visual perceptions are an effect of the kinesthetics, the “feelingness,” if you will, of the events. Here is where the beliefs, the subjective energetic signatures, the feelings and templates of patterns of behavior and emotional egoic reactions are stored that are creating and generating the movie or events and reflections in the life of the client today.

Feeling these energetic patterns, being in them, relaxing into them, is a very essential process for healing in regression work. It is not necessary to “see” anything at all. In fact, the “seeing” of visuals or Technicolor™ movies may only be a distraction from being in the feelings of an event or in the body of the subject in the past life.

Meanwhile, feeling and being in the event will also bring other important awareness — insights into tone, attitude, habits, opinions, beliefs, judgments, self-judgments, fears, emotions, and patterns of experience.

Please trust your Higher Self that whatever experience you will have, it is perfect for you at this time. Be excited and don’t expect anything specific.

You can see how it looks like in my below sessions I recorded. My clients allowed me to share them with the world. (second half of the video – when Higher Self talks in 3rd person about the subject):
